Description:

The Ace Space Show was a multimedia performance by Dana Atchley in the Grand Luxe Hall that combined storytelling, music, comedy, and theatre. Atchley opened the show with a slideshow presentation that recounted his experience touring across the continent in his van. Atchley used two slide projectors on swivel mounts that allowed him to control the images from the stage and switch between double screen and dissolve on the projectors.

The Ace Space Show also featured a hula-style dance by Catherine Fraser to vocal accompaniment by Mary Beth Knechtel and Suzanne Ksinan; a vocal performance by The Coconettes with musical accompaniment by Hank Bull and the Brute Saxes; among other sketches and musical performances. The program unfolded on a tropical-themed set decorated with paper palm tree sculptures.
