Current Exchange was a four-part performance series of Contact Improvisation that emerged out of a month-long residency of local, national, and international dancers.The fourth and final performance was introduced by Lola Ryan, and featured a duet by Dena Davida and Roger Neece, followed by a longer piece by Michael Linehan in which he danced with Lisa Nelson, Alan Ptashek, and Steve Paxton in turn.
Following an intermission, duets by Andrew de Lotbinière Harwood and Steven Crawford, Heidi Timm and Alan Ptashek, and Nancy Stark Smith and Alan Ptashek were followed by songs performed by Lisa Nelson, Steve Paxton, Melanie Headland, Andrew Warshaw, and Nancy Stark Smith.
