Betsy Warland

Bio:

Betsy Warland is a writer and editor based in Vancouver, Canada whose work spans creative nonfiction, memoir, and poetry. Warland initiated the Toronto Women’s Writing Collective, initiated and co-coordinated the 1983 Women and Words conference, and designed and directed The Writer’s Studio at Simon Fraser University, where she held faculty and mentor positions for a number of years.
