Description:

Clamour: GPS was a weekly series presented on Thursday evenings throughout October 2009 that featured music, cocktails, and DJs.

The fifth event of the series featured Kaspoit!, a written draft based on a forthcoming novel by Dennis E. Bolen. Performed by vocalist and electronic music composer, Soressa Gardner, the work explores new approaches to language and music while putting speculative illustration to some of the most brutal crimes in Canadian history.

A new collaborative work of Jeremy Todd’s ongoing series, Not Sent Letters, was also performed, with music by Graham Meisner. The interrelatedness of art, society, and everyday life was critically explored amongst a diverse plurality of artists and publics.

This event was also programmed as part of Intersections.
